1. Provider and service

Available document-upload forms follow the privacy policy; the portal does not collect payment-card details. Paid individual assistance requires separately agreed scope and terms; an enquiry alone is not an order. Purchases on external sites follow the terms shown there.
2. Account and acceptable use
Accounts are for adults using their own email address, an up-to-date browser and internet access. Public texts need no login. Account forms require essential cookies; enhanced features and optional metrics use JavaScript. The account agreement is formed when the mailbox owner confirms the email, chooses a password and accepts these terms. Passwords have at least 15 characters; staff must use MFA. Opening an activation link alone does not activate an account.
Do not share your password, post unlawful content or malicious code, spam, or provide third-party data without authority. This is not a public forum: readers do not publish posts to other readers. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive data, passwords or payment-card details.
3. Library and notes
Save up to 1,000 materials, organise shelves and keep private publication notes. Reading history is off by default. Notes require an explicit save; an unsaved-change warning is not a backup. Version conflicts prevent silent overwriting. A changed-publication label does not certify a fresh legal review. Your notes are not automatically advice from the author. Export important material before closing the account.
4. One first short consultation
The first consultation is a free short explanation of one simple issue. It does not include substantial document review, calculations, preparation of a legal opinion, tax filing or representation. More extensive work requires a separate scope and acceptance. We aim to reply within seven working days after receiving the information needed to assess a simple question; we notify you where another timeframe or scope is necessary. Do not rely on an unaccepted portal enquiry to protect an urgent legal deadline.
The entitlement applies once per person, regardless of the number of accounts, email addresses or contact channels. By submitting a question as a first consultation you declare that you have not used it before. The team verifies the entitlement before answering, using this register and its own records of earlier contacts; where an earlier consultation is established, the question is treated as an enquiry about further assistance. Providing untrue information in order to obtain another free consultation is a breach of these terms. You may ask for an incorrect status to be reviewed.
A first enquiry reserves the entitlement. Requests for clarification, administrative replies or declining a complex engagement do not use it. A staff member explicitly records substantive completion, with date, channel and history. Deleting the account does not renew a retained used entitlement. Challenge an error through the account or kontakt@jtwpoland.com; corrections are reasoned and audited.
5. Communication and documents
Questions and answers are kept in the case. Email notifications announce an answer without reproducing the confidential conversation. Email arrival also depends on mail providers, so check the logged-in case. Send documents outside the portal only after agreeing a secure channel and necessary scope. We do not publish correspondence as case studies without an appropriate basis and effective removal of identifying information.
6. Newsletter
Joining is separate from the account or a free download and requires separate consent plus email confirmation. Messages include education and offers, including paid e-books, and may form a sequence started by confirmation. Unsubscribe from any marketing email without login. This stops new submissions, but a message already accepted by a mail server cannot reliably be recalled.
7. Materials and responsibility
Public content is general education. Check the legal date on the particular material; technical redevelopment does not automatically refresh the legal analysis. Applying law to your circumstances requires examining those circumstances. We promise neither a specific tax outcome nor absolute immunity from security incidents. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited or statutory consumer rights.
Copyright applies. Private use and statutory permitted uses, including lawful quotation, remain available. Republishing entire materials beyond permitted use requires authority. A free account does not transfer rights to e-books or other products.
8. Complaints, termination and changes
Send complaints about functionality, content or consultation status through your account or to kontakt@jtwpoland.com, describing the issue and a contact method. We acknowledge and normally respond within 14 days, subject to applicable statutory procedures; data-rights requests follow GDPR time limits. We do not limit statutory alternative dispute resolution or consumers’ competent courts.
You can end use and delete the account at any time without a closure fee. Separately, where a statutory withdrawal right applies, within 14 days of the agreement you may send “I withdraw from my My Library account agreement”, identifying the account email and date. Using the library is not treated as waiving statutory rights.
Access may be proportionately restricted for a real security risk or material breach, with information and an opportunity to explain unless immediate action is necessary. Material terms changes require a reason and at least 14 days’ notice with the right to leave; urgent legal or security measures may require a shorter period, which we explain. Changes are not retrospective. Polish law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection under applicable conflict-of-law rules. The current account and case interface is Polish; the language of further consultation is agreed individually.
